Guidelines
By creating a user profile on AutoUncle or purchasing a product, you agree to receive emails from AutoUncle ApS, which may contain advertisements from AutoUncle ApS as well as AutoUncle's partners. AutoUncle ApS does not share email addresses or other information with third parties.
Sales Prices, Car Valuation and Sales Times
Sales Prices, Car Valuation and Sales Times are each a feature (also called 'app') with direct access via a user login.
Payment
When purchasing Sales Prices, Car Valuation and/or Sales Times, you can pay by credit card including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
For each feature, the period of access is stated. Access to the feature is not automatically renewed. You must choose to renew access to the feature, after which the money will be charged to your account.
Right of Use
AutoUncle notes that Sales Prices, Car Valuation and Sales Times and associated login/password and services are strictly personal, and that it is not permitted to resell, lend, share or otherwise pass on login and password and other information and services associated with Sales Prices, Car Valuation and Sales Times. Sales Prices, Car Valuation and Sales Times may only be used by the user who created the account. Misuse will result in the account being blocked without notice, without any compensation.
Terms and Conditions
AutoUncle is an internet-based concept, and you can therefore only order services via our website(s). All prices include VAT and other fees. Prices are daily prices. When you trade with AutoUncle, agreements are made in English. It is not possible to see previous orders when logging in to the website. If you wish to receive a copy of your order confirmation, please send an email to [email protected]. Remember to provide the email address you used for the purchase.
Payment
On AutoUncle you can pay with credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. No fees are charged for payment on AutoUncle. When you complete an online payment with a payment card, you are always protected against misuse. You have the option to reject the payment when you receive your payment statement. The data you provide in connection with an online purchase paid with a payment card is encrypted (SSL). Only our payment processor can read them. Neither the online store nor others have the ability to read the data. The amount is only charged to your account when the service is activated on AutoUncle. An amount greater than what you have approved at purchase can never be charged.
Right of Withdrawal
The standard 14-day right of withdrawal applies to Sales Prices, Car Valuation and Sales Times.
Right of Complaint
When you shop on AutoUncle you have the right to complain. This requires that the complaint is justified, and that the defect has not occurred as a result of incorrect use of the product, including but not limited to setup problems on your own computer (e.g. firewall settings or outdated internet browser) or security settings at your internet provider.
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect in the service. Since the services on AutoUncle are always time-limited, "reasonable time" is considered to be within the service's lifetime and immediately thereafter. If a complaint is made within two months after the defect was discovered, the complaint will be considered timely.

Cookies
A cookie is a term for the fact that a user's behavior on a network is recorded on the user's own device (on the user's hard disk). This way, the user can be recognized, for example on a website, on the next visit. No personally identifiable information is stored in a cookie, but rather information about the user's behavior on a website, such as a username for login on a website. A cookie is stored on the user's hard disk along with cached files. A cookie is thus a text file that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard disk. You can set your browser to inform you when you receive a cookie, or you can turn off cookies completely. The only thing these cookies are used for is to recognize your computer.
Technically, cookies can be divided into two types. One type is called "session cookies" - they keep track of what you have put in your shopping cart while you navigate around the online store. "Session cookies" are not stored on your computer, but disappear when you close the browser.
The other type of cookie is called a "permanent cookie", and it is stored as a text file on your computer for about a month. A "permanent cookie" helps our server recognize your computer the next time you log in to our website. On AutoUncle, cookies are used with the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionality, and thus making the visit as easy as possible for you.

Log Statistics
Log statistics are used on AutoUncle, which means that a statistics system collects information that can provide a statistical picture of how many visitors a website has had, where they come from and where on the website they leave, etc. On AutoUncle, log statistics are used with the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionalities.
